Donations

Through our fundraising programs and events, the Naperville Jaycees raise upwards of $150,000 each year, which is distributed to numerous local organizations. Each request is reviewed by the Donations Committee, approved by the Board of Directors, and finally, approved by the general membership.

If you would like the Naperville Jaycees to make a donation to your organization, please complete the Donation Request Description Form and email it to jcinfo@naperjaycees.org.

From Kristin Samp, VP of Development, Our Children's Homestead:

"Thank you so very much for your generous donation of $5,900 to our Feed the Kids program. Feed the Kids serves children who would receive free or reduced-cost school meals during the school year. However, when school is out for the summer vacation, statistics show these needy children are not assured of adequate nutrition. Our program provides 100 families with 335 children 200 to 250 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, bread, non-perishable food, and healthy snacks in June, July and August. Your support for our work in invaluable, and we are so grateful for your efforts to improve the lives of area children."

"Through partnerships like your organization, our participants with disabilities are able to participate in programs that truly impact their quality of life. Our inclusion requests have doubled over the last three years. Your $6,000 grant will help us to continue offering quality inclusion services in the Naperville area."

"In response to the very generous grant of $1,000, I join with hundreds of adult learners in our program to say thank you for your generosity and for helping us reach more adults who need to learn to read, write, speak and understand English. On behalf of the entire Naperville Community Television Organization, I want to thank the Naperville Jaycees for the generous grant of $2,397 for the replacement of three camera tripods which have been used well beyond life expectancy and have been repaired repeatedly. NVTV17 tripods are a part of every single field production, and represent programming from all geographic segments of this community. We are deeply appreciative that you chose NCTV17 as a grant recipient."

From Emily Stern, Executive Director, Rebuilding Aurora Together:

"I would like to thank you for your generous contribution of $5,000, which will be used to purchase and utilize materials and supplies used for the April Rebuilding Event project. This is our program through which we provide large-scale rehab services to about 30 low-income needy families in Aurora. Our organization would not survive without the continued generosity of communities and organizations that make a point to care for their neighbors and those that struggle to care for themselves. On a personal note, I have found the Naperville Jaycees to be one of the hardest working, dedicated and compassionate groups that I have ever worked with."
