Shines new light on old tales. Heroes and heroines outwit their foes with pluck, ingenuity, and sometimes a little bit of magic. Stories from around the globe are filled with insight and fresh with today’s perspective.

Chris Fascione

Juggling Funny Stories. Chris brings contemporary and traditional children’s literature to life with his high-spirited and innovative juggling and mime performances.

Naperville Public Library

Join the Naperville Public Library for a fun-filled program of stories, songs and puppets. Be ready to laugh, sing and “Shake-It”!

SciTech

Watch the folks from the SciTech hands on museum in Aurora perform a display of exciting Science.

 

3:00 p.m.

Scales and Tales

Come face to face with unusual animals, and lean about their unusual lives in this interactive Animal Show.

Prepare to be awestruck as the McNulty Irish Dancers entertain the crowd with a set of Traditional Irish Jigs.

Family Picnic Area

picnic tables and grassy area provide a comfortable location for eating. 

 

Arts & Crafts Area

Under the same tent with SciTech, features fun crafts for kids to exercise their creativity and make something to bring home.

 

Bubble’s Area

Let bubbles fill the air and let children fill the bubbles as they play at the SciTech bubbles area where kids can see what it looks like from the inside of a bubble.

 

Diaper Changing Area

Find a private spot to take care of your infant’s needs.

 

Identa-Kid

Parents can obtain identification cards for their children 

at the Last Fling that can be used anywhere. The cost will 

be $5 (1 card), $8 (2 cards per child), $10 (3 cards per child).  The laminated cards include childs' name, physical description, fingerprints, parent’s address, and child’s picture. 


 

Giant Sandbox

A child’s dream beach comes to the Last Fling with heaps of sand to play in.

 

Playdough Table

Mounds of endless play-dough to be shaped by creative minds.

Moon Walk - Children can jump to their hearts content (or at least until their time is up).

 

Pure Excitement Rock Climbing

Come test your rock climbing skills free of charge.

 

Gymboree Play & Music

A parent and child play, music and arts programs for children to newborn to 5 years old.

 

Strolling Characters

The children’s favorites come out to visit.
