Thank you for your interest in the 2004 Labor Day parade. Confirmation
letters were mailed to you, but you may also link to the parade line-up file for your organization's drop-off area and time. The organizations are listed alphabetically.

You must follow the map to the appropriate drop-off area.

Directions are as follows:
Red Drop-off Area - From Washington Street, proceed west on 6th Avenue.
The Red Drop-off area is at the corner of 6th Avenue and Morningside.  If
you are the driver of the entry's vehicle, please enter the gate here.

Green Drop-off Area - From Ogden Avenue, turn south on Royal St. George.
Proceed to Pacific for the Green Drop-off area.  If you are the driver of
the entry's vehicle, please enter the gate here.  Only northbound traffic
will be allowed on Pacific.

Blue Drop-off Area - From eastbound Ogden Avenue, turn right into the
Naperville North High School parking lot.  A Jaycees volunteer will be at
the Blue Drop-off barricade.  Proceed around the high school to exit.

Yellow Drop-off Area - There are two drop-off areas--Spring/Ewing and
Spring/Eagle.  1.  On the west side of Mill St, proceed north on Ewing to
the Yellow Drop-off Area at Spring Street.  Turn left on Spring to exit.
2.  From Washington Street, turn west on Spring Street to the Yellow
Drop-off on the east side of Mill St.  The Safety Town Graduates should
assemble on Spring Street between Mill and Ewing.

Directions to Naperville North High School from I-88:  Exit at Naperville
Road and proceed south to Ogden Avenue Rt. 34.  Turn right onto Ogden
Avenue Rt. 34.

Mill Street, 5th Avenue, and Spring Street between Eagle and Ewing will close at 8:45a.m.  Streets along the parade route close at 9:00 a.m.

The parking at Naperville North High School is very limited.  All parade
participants must be dropped off or carpool.  If the carpool driver is in
the parade, we highly recommend that he parks at Naperville Central High
School and walks the parade route back to the starting area.  Directions
from the drop-off area to the pick-up area are west on Ogden Avenue, south
on River Road, east on Oswego Road, south on West Street, east on Hillside
Road and then north on Webster.

The parade route is 1.3 miles.  It starts at the corner of Mill Street and
5th Avenue, proceeds south on Mill Street, east on Jefferson Avenue, south
on Main Street, west on Porter Avenue, and ends in the parking lot behind
Naperville Central High School.  We ask that you do not stop marching until
you are completely in the parking lot.

We will only consider canceling in the event that the National Weather
Service issues severe thunderstorm warnings for the City of Naperville.

For the safety of our children, you may not throw anything into the crowd
along the parade route.  Pre-approved items may be passed hand-to-hand
only, and you may not hold up the parade by doing so.  Stopping to perform
will not be allowed.  KEEP PACE!  Gaps in the parade have always been one
of the complaints.  If you see a gap in front of you, then please safely
speed up.

There will be Jaycees and volunteers on-site to assist you.  We look
forward to a safe, enjoyable, and fun day!
