Naperville Jaycees 36th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Family fun event! 14,000 eggs are “hidden” among the 4 ball fields at Frontier Park Sports Complex, divided by age groups. The age groups are: 0-2yrs, 3-4yrs, 5-6yrs, 7-8yrs. At 9:00 am, the horn sounds, and hundreds of kids/parents scramble across the outfields to get the eggs. Special prizes are available, as well as a visit from the Easter Bunny!

This is a FREE Community Event organized by the Naperville Jaycees, however, Donations are suggested. No reservations required.

Please try to arrive THIRTY MINUTES EARLY. Parking is limited and we wouldn’t want your child to miss the Easter Egg Hunting Festivities.

Furthermore we will be accepting food donation for Loaves and Fishes. Below are the items that are in high demand:
– Lower Sodium Canned Goods
– Fruit Juices
– Whole Grains (such as Quinoa)

In an homage to a wildly popular show which airs on “Spike TV”, the Jaycees have enlisted the Image result for image of a starstarImage result for image of a star power of local celebrity Danielle Tufano, of 95.9 the river, as host to the performers.

The Rules:

The event is 2 rounds of Lip Sync performances with a side of fierce competition in which only 1 contestant can prevail!

In partnership with NCTV17, the Jaycees ask you to vote for your favorite “sync-lebrity” at Center Stage Theater in Naperville. Doors open at 6:00 PM prior to live audience taping. Additional games with audience participation and more than a dozen exciting raffle prizes available to win! Complimentary Meet & Greet after party including light snacks and beverages.

Also, a live broadcast Watch Party is set for 7:00 PM, May 6, 2019 at Aurelio’s Pizzeria located at 1975 Springbrook Drive in Naperville. The Naperville Jaycees are pleased to announce the 41st Annual Distinguished Service Awards. The event will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 6:30 PM at Meson Sabika in Naperville.

The Distinguished Service Awards recognize local individuals and organizations for their community spirit and dedication to Naperville. This year’s honorees are:

2019 Naperville Lobster Day @ Pepe's Mexican Restaurant

The Naperville Jaycees are now accepting orders for fresh North Atlantic live lobsters for $22 or cooked lobsters for $27 and filet mignon from Casey’s Foods for $14. Each lobster has an average weight of 1 1⁄4 – 1 1⁄2 pounds and the filets are 6-8 ounces. Order online now through Monday, May 6th at 12pm. This event is the day before Mother’s Day, so start planning your party for this year!

Lobsters and filets will be available for pick up between 11am-6pm on Saturday, May 11th in front of Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant and Cantina located at 1270 E. Chicago Avenue in Naperville.
