The money raised from this event, and all fundraisers held by the Naperville Jaycees, is donated back to area organizations. “This is a great way to give back to the community while also having fun. People can plan a party or just have a great dinner knowing that the money raised from their purchase will go back into the community we all love so much,” said Lobster Day Chair Kristin Liska.
The Jaycees continue to give back to the community. Each year, they give back to the Naperville community through different organizations such as Little Friends. Lobster Day is just one of the many fundraisers that are hosted by the Jaycees. Other fundraisers hosted by the Naperville Jaycees include: The Last Fling, Mardi Gras, and Bowling for Bucks. Other programs run by the Naperville Jaycees include Distinguished Service Awards and Easter Egg Hunt.
